Isabelle Salcher is an Applied Scientist at Uber. She is an applied microeconomist whose research focuses on labor markets and gender inequality in low-income countries. Recent work includes examining the impact of financial incentives on apprenticeship training quality in Ghana, the challenges of replicating an adolescent empowerment program in Tanzania, and the effects of education reform on marriage markets in Zimbabwe. Isabelle holds a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University and a M.Sc. in Specialized Economic Analysis from Barcelona School of Economics.
