Jeffrey Pagel is a Fellow in Environmental Economics at the London School of Economics and an Associate at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona. His research focuses on the intersection of environmental and development economics, using geospatial impact evaluations to examine the effects of large-scale interventions and policy frameworks on poverty, labor markets, health, and environmental sustainability, with a particular emphasis on land use and deforestation.
