

Stefania Garetto
Associate Professor of Economics, Boston University
Stefania Garetto is an Associate Professor of Economics at Boston University, a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economics Research (NBER), and a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Analysis and Policy (CEPR). Her research focuses on international trade, with a prevailing interest in the economics of multinational firms. Her research has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, and the Journal of International Economics. Before joining BU in 2009, Garetto has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2008 and her B.S. in Economics from Bocconi University in 2001.
