Augustin Tapsoba is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Toulouse School of Economics. His areas of expertise are development economics and the economics of the family. His research focuses on the socio-economic challenges that households face in developing countries. His recent work studies social norms and their interactions with marriage markets and economic activity in sub-Saharan Africa. Tapsoba received a Ph.D. in economics in 2019 from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Barcelona School of Economics.
