Dr. Gonzalo Navarrete is the first and only physician with formal specialization in Geriatrics and Oncology trained in Chile. He is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Chile, and a trainer of specialists in oncology and geriatrics. He is a founding member of the Oncogeriatrics Telecommittee at the Digital Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Chile. He is also a member of the International Society of Oncogeriatrics. In 2017, he was appointed Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
