Salauddin Tauseef is an Associate Research Fellow in the Development Strategy and Governance (DSG) Unit at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) based in Vientiane, Lao PDR. He is a development economist specializing in applied microeconomics, with a research focus on topics such as agriculture, poverty, vulnerability, food security, nutrition, and women's empowerment. He has worked on diverse projects including impact evaluations of social protection and nutrition-sensitive agriculture programs in South and Southeast Asia. Tauseef received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Manchester, UK (2022) and holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of California-Riverside, USA (2014).
