Sanghamitra Warrier Mukherjee is an Economist at the International Monetary Fund. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of Oxford in 2024. Her research is in development economics, with a focus on firms and households in low- and middle-income countries. Using empirical methods grounded in economic theory, she studies the drivers of firm growth and productivity. She also works on the role of digitalization in the overall growth strategy.
