

Wen-Chi Liao
Associate Professor of Real Estate, National University of Singapore
Wen-Chi Liao is an Associate Professor of Real Estate at the National University of Singapore and an affiliated researcher with the Center for Real Estate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Having a PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota, he researches urban economics, economic development, and real estate. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Regional Science and is on the editorial boards of several real estate journals. Owing to his administrative leadership roles at NUS, Wen-Chi is experienced in bridging the gulf between academics and policymakers. For example, tasked by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he represented NUS to work with Asia Development Bank's City Development Initiatives for Asia and directed ADB CDIA's Effective Urban Infrastructure Programming for Asia city mayors. Wen-Chi is on the research team of MIT Asia Real Estate Initiative. He has served as an assistant dean for NUS Business School.
