Sandip Mitra is an Associate Professor at the Indian Statistical Institute. He Has published number articles in reputed journals and books. Area of Research includes Political Economy, Poverty and Empowerment, Microfinance, Agricultural Markets, Large Scale Surveys. He has completed several projects with funding from reputed international organisations. He has visited a number of reputed Universities and Institutes in India and abroad. He has written significant number of Op-eds in popular newspapers.
