Jingting Fan is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the Pennsylvania State University. His research focuses on international trade and macroeconomics. One strand of his work studies within-country spatial frictions and their interactions with various types of shocks, such as the emergence of e-commerce and international trade liberalization. The other strand of his work studies the impact of multinational corporations on the income of nations.
