Matthieu Bellon is an economist in the IMF’s Fiscal Affair Department where he has been working on fiscal issues in low-income and emerging countries in Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. His research focuses on public economics, firm dynamics in response to technology or policy shocks, and climate change adaptation. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University.
