Tobias Pfutze is an Associate Professor of Economics at Florida International University in Miami, FL. His work has concentrated on topic of economic development and public policy in Mexico and Colombia and he has been published in the Journal of Economic Perspectives, the Development Economics, Economic Development and Cultural Change, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and World Development, among many others. He received his PhD in Economics from New York University in 2008, and has also held positions at Georgetown University, American University, Oberlin College, and the World Bank.
