Alan Spearot is an associate professor of economics at University of California, Santa Cruz. His research focus is international trade, development, and applied econometrics. He received his Ph.D in economics from University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2007, and his BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2001.
