Alvaro Pinzon is a Research Assistant at the Economics Department in Universidad de los Andes, Bogota. He is about to start a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Toronto, Canada. He holds a Master degree in Economics from Universidad de los Andes. His current research focuses on Economic Growth, Innovation and Industrial Organization. In particular, about plants dynamics across their life cycle; the relationship between firms' innovation and competition; and the relationship between firm dynamics and regulations.
