Andrew Cheon is an Assistant Professor of International Political Economy at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University. His research spans IPE, international security, and political economy of energy and the environment, with particular interests in national oil companies, energy security, energy subsidies, and renewable energy. His current project analyses the global expansion of national oil companies with a focus on institutional mechanisms of energy sector governance.
