Arkodipta Sarkar is an Assistant Professor in Finance at the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research is in the intersection of politics, culture, and finance. Particularly the way political and/or cultural frictions can affect financial decision-making. Prior to joining NUS, Arko worked as an Assistant Professor of finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Arko received his PhD in finance from the London Business School, MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, and BSc in Economics from Presidency College, Calcutta.
