Bansi Malde is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Economics at the University of Kent, UK and a Research Associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, UK. Her research agenda focuses on topics related to development economics, health economics and the economics of social networks. Recent research has investigated the factors influencing the take-up of sanitation infrastructure and behaviour, the effects of nutrition and water, sanitation and hygiene behaviours on child health and the effects of providing information on various topics on individual and household outcomes in developing countries. She holds a PhD in Economics from University College London.
