Carolina Mejía-Mantilla is a Senior Economist in the Poverty and Equity Practice, currently working in Latin America and the Caribbean. She has led analytical work and provided policy advice in various regions, including South Asia, Southeast Asia, and most recently, East Africa. Her research interests focus on labor markets, social protection programs, poverty, and behavioral interventions. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
