Cian Ruane is an Economist in the Development-Macroeconomics division of the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund. His research interests are in macroeconomics and trade with a focus on firms and economic development. He holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Trinity College Dublin.
