Professor Claudia Steinwender is a Professor of Economics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). She is affiliated with CEPR, CEP and cesifo, as well as an associate Editor at the Journal of International Economics and Editorial Board Member at Explorations in Economic History. Her research areas are international trade, firm productivity and innovation, organizational economics, and economic history. Prior to joining LMU, she was an assistant professor at MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School. She holds a PhD from the London School of Economics.
