Cristian Challu

Cristian Challu is a PhD student of Machine Learning at Carnegie Mellon University. Cristian holds a B.A in Economics, a B.S in Applied Mathematics and a MS in Data Science from ITAM. He has extensive experience in both academia and industry in several areas. He worked at Amazon as Applied Scientist Intern, at ITAM as Research Assistant for Prof. Enrique Seira and Prof. Alberto Simpser and at Banco de Mexico as Financial Researcher. His research interests include machine learning, in particular time-series forecasting with Deep Learning models.
