Damian Clarke

Damian Clarke is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Chile. He is also a Research Fellow at IZA, and a Research Associate at the Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER), Essex, The Center for the Study of African Economies, Oxford and the The Millennium Nucleus for the Study of the Life Course and Vulnerability (MLIV). His research focuses on maternal and child health, and family fertility decisions. In particular his recent projects examine the impact of public programs on maternal mortality and morbidity, early life health outcomes for children, and the determinants of parental investment in children.
