David Atkin

David Atkin is a Professor in the Economics Department at MIT. His research focuses on evaluating the impacts of trade liberalization on the poor in the developing world. His recent work has studied the impacts of trade on health and education, the costs of distance and the distribution sector in developing countries, and provided experimental evidence for the impacts of trade and industrial policy. Atkin holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University.
