Edward Asiedu
Senior lecturer, University of Ghana Business School
Dr. Edward Asiedu is a development economist and a Senior lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School. He is also a JPAL MIT invited researcher, former postdoctoral research and teaching fellow at the Chair of Development Economics at the University of Passau, Germany, and currently a visiting associate professor at the Institute of Development Policy (IOB) University of Antwerp, Belgium. His research is centered around topics in development economics and finance, migration and development, behavioural economics, and the design and impact evaluation of development projects. His current research is taking place in Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, and Liberia. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Gottingen in Germany and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Guelph, Ontario Canada, and a bachelor’s degree (First Class Honors) from the University of Ghana.
