Emir Murathanoglu is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Oberlin College. He received a Ph.D. in economics and business from the University of Michigan in 2024 and a B.A. in economics from Carleton College in 2016. His research interests are in development economics and labor economics, with a focus on international migration and managerial human capital in developing countries.
