Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, LSE; CEPR Research Affiliate
Guy Michaels is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the Director of the Labour Markets Programme at Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) at the LSE. He also serves as a member of the editorial board of the Review of Economic Studies and as an associate editor at the Economic Journal. Guy’s research interests include labor economics, economic development, and economic geography. He has a B.Sc. in Mathematics, magna cum laude, from Tel-Aviv University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
