Senior Adviser, South Asia Region, World Bank
Hassan Zaman is the Senior Adviser in the South Asia Region of the World Bank. Until very recently, he was Chief Economist of Bangladesh Bank (Central Bank) and prior to this was a Lead Economist at the World Bank. Earlier in his career he worked for BRAC in Bangladesh.
He has degrees from LSE (B.Sc and M.Sc) and Sussex (PhD) and various publications in peer reviewed journals.
