Policy Economist, IGC
Julia Tobias is a Policy Economist in the IGC London Hub. She provides thematic leadership over IGC’s work in energy and state effectiveness. Previously, she has worked with the World Bank, Global Innovation Fund, and the National Team for Accelerating Poverty Reduction under the Vice President of Indonesia. Her interests focus on poverty reduction, social protection, governance, and innovative approaches to public services delivery. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Stanford University and a B.A. from Yale University.
