Ketki Sheth

Ketki Sheth is a development economist who main research focuses on gender, financial access, education, and health in low-income countries. She primarily uses lab and field experiments, and has conducted field work in India, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Madagascar. She is currently working on research projects exploring the role of gender discrimination in the provision of financial capital, and the return to several interventions that improve education access and delivery. She is an affiliate for the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) and an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of California, Merced.
