Kim Cramer
Assistant Professor, LSE Finance
Kim Fe Cramer is an assistant professor at LSE Finance. She obtained her Ph.D. from Columbia University. She is an empirical researcher in household finance, exploring how financial policies in developing countries affect households. She particularly focuses on households' challenges around health and climate. In her job market paper, she uses a policy of the Reserve Bank of India to show that banks can substantially improve households' health status. She also shows two novel aspects of banking: Banks offer health insurance to households and credit to hospitals.
