Luis Castro Peñarrieta is an Assistant Professor at Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas (CIDE) in Mexico. His areas of interest focus on international trade, econometrics, development, applied industrial organization, and productivity. The research focuses on technology transfer to developing countries through different mechanisms. Previously, he was a Visiting Professor at Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico.
