Luis Guillermo Becerra-Valbuena

Luis Becerra-Valbuena is a Ph.D. student at the Paris School of Economics and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. He also works as a Teaching Assistant-ATER in the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and is a fellow of the Institute Convergences Migrations (IC). As development and environmental economist, his research focuses on land property rights and deforestation, urban pollution, and health, climatic shocks in agriculture and migration as well as in applied microeconometrics. He expects to graduate soon of the Ph.D. in Economics and also holds a Master in Public Policy and Development from the Paris School of Economics (EHESS), a Master in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Davis at California and a Master and Bachelor’s in Economics from the National University of Colombia.
