Marinella Leone is Associate Professor at the University of Pavia. She received her PhD in economics from the University of Sussex and worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies. Her research is in development economics. Her more recent research focuses on the study of early child development parenting programs, the development of socio-emotional skills in primary school children and gender-based violence. In previous research, she investigated the short, long-term and intergenerational impact of conflicts.
