Matthew Gudgeon

Matthew Gudgeon is a Ph.D. candidate at Boston University, graduating in 2018. He will be joining the U.S. Military Academy at West Point as an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Fall of 2018. He is an applied micro-economist whose research interests span labor, public economics, and political economy. His research broadly studies how individuals, groups, and firms respond to public policy changes. He is particularly interested in studying the positive and negative effects of diversity and how policy can help mitigate diversity’s adverse effects.
