Michel Serafinelli is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Essex, and holds a PhD from Berkeley. Previous to Essex, he was at U of Toronto. He is a Research Fellow at IZA and CReAM. His primary research fields are Labour and Regional Economics. He is also interested in issues at the intersection of his primary fields and the areas of Environmental Economics and Political Economy.
