Victor Orozco
Economist, World Bank
Victor Orozco is an Economist with the Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) unit of the World Bank’s Development Research Group. His research focuses on mechanisms to promote behavior change and includes experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations in the areas of health, education, gender-based violence, and environment. He recently launched the DIME research program on Entertainment-Education, the use of mass media programming to promote norm-shifting and behavior change for development impact. Before joining DIME, Victor worked at the World Bank's Independent Evaluation Group focusing on thematic and process evaluations. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Economics from Princeton University and is currently a PhD Candidate in the Department of Social Policy at Oxford University.
