Jean Lee
Economist, Millennium Challenge Corporation
Jean Lee is an Economist with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), an independent federal agency devoted to reducing poverty through economic growth, in Washington, D.C.
She received a doctorate in economics from Harvard University in 2010 and a bachelor's degree in physics from Harvard University in 2003. In addition to her work with MCC, she has worked with the World Bank, the United Nations Development Programme, the Financial Access Initiative at New York University, Abt Associates and the United States International Trade Commission. Her research interests are diverse and include a broad set of topics and both experimental and nonexperimental work in development economics and selected areas of domestic policy. Her work has been published in the American Law and Economics Review, the American Economic Review, the American Economic Review Papers and Proceedings issue, and Health Economics.
