Tanika Chakraborty is associate professor of economics at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. Her research interests span a wide range of policy issues in Labor and Development Economics, with a special focus on human capital and gender. Her research has featured in the Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and Demography among others. She has also served as a policy expert in the Government of India's Minimum Wage Committee.
