Sebastian Vergara is an Economic Affairs Officer at the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations (UN DESA). He is a development economist specialized in economic growth, innovation, international trade, and multinational firms. Previously, he worked for more than ten years in the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UN ECLAC). He holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and PhD in Economics of Innovation.
