Shaheen Naseer is an Assistant Professor at the Lahore School of Economics and a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Economics and Business (CREB). She has diverse research interests in the broad areas of development economics and political economy with a special focus on evidence-based policy design. In her research Shaheen conducts randomized evaluation to identify causal effects of soft skills training on agents’ behavior in various private and public organizations in Pakistan. Shahen’s ongoing research includes investigating the role of effective altruism, measuring inefficiency with list experiments and exploring how agents’ decisions are influenced by social norms and laws.
Shaheen holds a PhD in Law and Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
