Tanu Kuram is a postdoctoral fellow at William & Mary's Global Research Institute. Starting July 2022, she will be an Assistant Professor in the Division of Politics and Economics at Claremont Graduate University. She studies policies to manage rapid urban growth, mainly in India. Her current book project is part of larger research agenda that aims to draw housing to the center of debates on social protection in urbanizing countries. She also studies policies surrounding water and digital technologies to improve service delivery. She received her PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2020.
