Vaidehi Tandel is an economist working in the areas of urban economics, real estate, political economy, and public finance with a focus in India. She is currently a lecturer (assistant professor) at the University of Manchester and has previously been a lecturer at the University of Reading. Her work has been featured in The Financial Times, The New York Times, Livemint, and others. Her ongoing research looks at the impact of mandatory disclosures on housing markets, and climate change and adaptation in developing countries.
