Victoire Girard is a research faculty at Nova School of Business and Economics, and a resident member of NOVAFRICA. Her main research fields are Political Economy, Development Economics, and Environmental and Natural Resources Economics. Her current projects document the impact of natural resources on conflicts, identities fragmentation, deforestation, and other dimensions of local development, in the African continent. She has published in journals such as the Economic Journal or the Journal of Development Economics.
