Yumi Koh is an empirical microeconomist working in the fields of public economics and political economy. Much of her current work is on public infrastructures, innovations, and government regulations/policies. 

Before joining University of Seoul, she was an assistant professor at Singapore Management University. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Seoul National University.
