Yuri Barreto is an Economist (STC) at the World Bank's Development Impact Evaluation Department and a Research Fellow at the Group for the Evaluation of Public and Economic Policies (GAPPE). He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Federal University of Pernambuco. His research focuses on development economics, particularly in its relationship with urban, environmental, and economic history. He has collaborated with the International Labour Organization and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
