Her fields of research are gender and labor economics. Within gender economics, she specializes in intimate partner violence and gender norms. Within labor economics, she is interested in how to retain and motivate talented workers.
Her work combines simple theoretical models with credible empirical identification strategies. This allows her to highlight the mechanisms behind the findings and to simulate alternative policies.
