Frederico Finan is a jointly appointed associate professor in the Department of Economics and the Haas School of Business, at UC-Berkeley. He is a co-director of Berkeley’s Center for Economics and Politics (BCEP), a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, a research fellow of the Bureau for Research in Economic Analysis of Development, and a member of the Jameel Poverty Action Lab at MIT. In 2013, Finan was an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow. He holds a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from UC-Berkeley, and has held faculty positions at UCLA and Stanford GSB.
