Jed Friedman
Lead Economist, Development Research Group, World Bank
is a Lead Economist in the Development Research Group (Poverty and Inequality Team) at the World Bank. Jed’s research interests include the measurement of wellbeing and poverty as well as the evaluation of health and social policies. His current research topics include investigating the nutritional and development gains from early childhood investment programs, as well as testing new approaches to survey-based wellbeing measurement. Jed holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
