Juan-Camilo Cárdenas

Juan-Camilo Cardenas is a Professor at the economics department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2021 and on leave from the Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia). He holds a Ph.D. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (1999). Cardenas uses tools from behavioral and experimental economics in the lab and the field, surveys and participatory tools to understand the human processes affected by inequality, and the challenges to achieve diversity and cooperation within groups.
