

Martina Björkman-Nyqvist
Professor of Economics, Stockholm School of Economics
Martina Björkman Nyqvist is a Professor of Economics and the Executive Director of Misum (Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets at SSE) at the Stockholm School of Economics. Before moving to SSE, she was an Assistant Professor at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Her research interests are within development economics focusing on health, education, and gender. A selection of her work includes public service delivery and community health workers in Uganda, an HIV prevention program in Lesotho, and an education program in India.
She is an affiliate of the J-Poverty Action Lab (J-Pal), a CEPR Research Fellow, and a BREAD Affiliate.
Martina is on the Editorial Board of VoxDev.
